Wison Engineering (stock code: 2236.HK) secured the total contract for the new Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) Phase 4 project owned by Farabi, a private company in Saudi Arabia in November 2022. This project marks the first fine chemical EPC project that Wison Engineering has obtained in the Middle East market, as well as a new breakthrough in the private owner market in Saudi Arabia.
Farabi Petrochemicals Group is located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, primarily producing chemical products such as linear alkyl benzene and additives. The new LAB plant will increase production capacity to 120,000 MTPA. Farabi will become the world's largest producer of linear alkyl benzene upon completion of the project.
This collaboration also marks the first partnership between Wison Engineering and Farabi.
