PC Contract Award Ceremony between Wison Engineering and PetroChina Sichuan PC Held in Wison Shanghai Office

2:00 pm, Feb 19, 2009, the Signing Ceremony for PC Contract of 6 packages including 600kta Para-xylene plant between Wison Engineering and PetroChina Sichuan PC was held in Wison Science and Technology Park.
 

Top management of the two companies attended the ceremony. In the opening speech, two parties expressed their wishes to the coming cooperation. Then, Mr. Li Dongsheng, General Manager of PetroChina Sichuan PC, and Mr. Hua Bangsong, President of Wison signed the contract and proposed a toast along with all participants to a success of mutual cooperation.
 

PetroChina Sichuan PC 800kta Ethylene and 10,000kta Refinery grass-roots project has been listed as one of the major projects of National Eleventh Five-Year Plan, and also is the first petrochemical project of such a large scale in China South West. The project is of great significance and has far-reaching influence on improving the strategic deployment of China's petrochemical industry and promoting a rapid economic growth in Sichuan Province.
 

Wison Engineering has been awarded the PC (procurement and Constructions) Contract of 6 plants of the whole project, namely, 600kta Para-xylene plant, 60kta (SRU)sulfur recovery complex, 2,200kta wax oil hydrotreater, 300 kta LLDPE plant and 2,000kta CCR plant, as well as 1,000kta ethylene cracking furnaces and furnace pipe racks.
 

Mr. Zhou Hongliang, Wison's Sichuan Project Team Manager and also Deputy General Manager of Wison Engineering undertook in the ceremony that Wison will deliver Owner the project on schedule and with a high standard of quality and safety by following Owner's procurement management mode, strengthening supervision over manufacturers to ensure satisfactory quality of all equipment/materials, and keeping a close eye on every construction activities.
 

So far, the Project Team has been mobilized to the site in Pengzhou County, starting building the temporary facilities including site office and warehouse, coordinating with the design institute and preparing for placing the POs for long-lead items. Site preparations for 300kta LLDPE plant are undergoing to ensure on-schedule commencement of work on April 20, 2009.
