Wison Engineering Participating in 2011 China Chemical Industry Park Forum

Release time:2011-07-26

On May 27th, 2011, Wison Engineering Ltd. participated in the 12th Petro-Chemical Industry Development Conference and 2011 China Chemical Industry Park Forum. Li Yansheng, Technical Director of Wison Engineering delivered a keynote speech and shared his insights on Project Planning in Coal Chemical Industry and Its Downstream Products.

By analyzing development trends of the coal-to-chemical industry, Mr. Li Yansheng presented six principles in planning a coal-to-chemical project and its downstream product production. The six principles, which include local consumption, market prospects, advanced innovation, circular economy, industry agglomeration and economic benefits, are summarized based on Wison Engineering’s practices in its coal-to-chemical project in Nanjing. In addition, Mr. Li specially elaborate his unique viewpoint on the usage of the byproduct of MTO -carbon4. He thought with an adequate supply of C4, it would be more economical to directly transform C4 to butadiene or its downstream product butadiene rubber than the traditional production process of craking C4 into ethylene or propylene. This technology approach can also help to satisfy the increasing domestic demand for butadiene.
