In the 2016 China Petrochemical Development and Innovation Summit held in Shanghai, YanSheng Li, Chief Scientist of Wison Engineering and China Engineering Master of Petroleum & Chemical Industry was invited to give a speech on “Innovative Development and Competence Analysis on MTO Olefin Separation Technology”.
Yansheng Li introduced Wison’s proprietary olefin separation technology with the highest recovery of ethylene and propylene on a global scale which reached 99.89% and 99.96% respectively. Furthermore, Mr. Li shared his innovative idea of MTO product roadmap, that it’s much more economical by using byproduct of C4 from MTO plant to produce butadiene and derive light olefins from C5+ via olefin cracking process (OCP).
“We pay attention to both technology innovation and product roadmap planning when improving MTO process.” Mr. Li said. “The two sides together will enhance MTO efficiency as much as possible and enrich the butadiene yield, which also facilitate sustainable development of MTO process.”
About butene oxidization and dehydrogenation to butadiene technology
Wison Engineering commenced the research and development of butene oxidization and dehydrogenation to butadiene technology in February 2012 and achieved commercialization in November 2014 after the engineering stages of catalysts research and production as well as process technology optimization.
