Wison Engineering completed an EPC project in the Middle East on 14 December 2017, which is five days ahead of schedule. The project was initiated to debottleneck EO/EG production.
The project EPC contract was awarded to Wison Engineering in May 2016, covering detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and start-up services. The overall contract schedule is 19 months with 38 days as shutdown period.
Compared to the conventional schedule of around 23 months for similar projects, Wison Engineering was committed to delivering the project within only 19 months and finally managed to complete it 5 days in advance, which once again shows the company's excellent capability in project management.
During project execution, Wison Engineering encountered many difficulties such as challenging working environment in confined space and overwhelming volume of work during short shutdown period. To deliver the project on schedule and in compliance with strict safety and quality requirements, Wison Engineering coordinated seamlessly with the owner, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
Wison Engineering will further provide more services to the owner and ensure timely achievement of start-up.
